Join nowI appreciate you for continuously checking your bank transactions, @devsecops.
I've got troubleshooting steps to make sure you'll see the updated transactions and balance on the Banking page. This way, you can track and manage your account swiftly.
To start, I'd suggest logging in to your Chase bank website. From there, check for any announcements about new security requirements, messages, notifications, or alerts.
If everything looks good, go back to account and do manual updates. For most banks, QuickBooks downloads the latest available transactions every night around 10 PM PT. Some may take a little longer.
Here's how:
The number of transactions in each account tile will increase if QuickBooks downloads new transactions. For more details, check out this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks.
If the issue keeps going, I'd recommend manually downloading your bank data into the system. This way, you can categorize and reconcile your account whenever you're ready.
Here's how:
2. Go to the Banking tab on the left side.
3. Click the Link account drop-down and choose Upload from file.
4. Tap Browse and pick the data.
5. Review all the fields, then tap Next.
6. Click Let's go to complete the process.
For more information, check out this article: Manually upload transactions.

The update button does not work, this is actually the reason for my post seeking assistance.
I do not want to do any manually updates. The point of my signing up with QBO is so that I can have things like this automated.
i need a fix for this, please. It’s an application issue on the qbo side.

Utilize the trial version of SlickConnect to isolate the issue. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank.
