My QB bank connectivity says that I am connected to the correct account, but the correct data is not being imported from the bank. How can I fix this?

I made an error and initially connected to the incorrect bank account which caused an incorrect download from the bank feed. I tried editing the account number, but QB says that it is already connected. However, when I try to update the correct with the correct information, I am not getting the correct information

I can help you in connecting and removing those incorrect bank transactions, @enferris66.

You can fix this by deleting the bank connection and then reconnect the right one after.

Here's how to disconnect or delete a bank or credit card account from QuickBooks:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and select the account you want to disconnect. bank delete.JPG
  2. Click the pencil (edit) icon and select Edit account infodelete qbo.JPG
  3. In the Account window, check the box for Disconnect this account on save
  4. Select Save and closebankdelete.JPG

All the transactions that we're in the For review tab for this bank will get deleted. Check this Disconnect or delete an account connected to online banking article for more information.

Here's a guide on how to connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online. After connecting the bank successfully and pulling up new transactions, you can now categorize and match online bank transactions in your QuickBooks Online account.

Should you need any further information with your bank transactions, let me know in the Reply section below. Keep safe and enjoy the rest of the day!
