Hi, @cmumper.
It is crucial to ensure an accurate record of your bank transactions, and I'm here to help you fix the downloaded transactions that were already reconciled in the old bank account.
When adding a new bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO), the old transactions reappear if the new bank system likely sees the merged account as a continuation of the old one. To fix this, we can exclude them to prevent duplicates. Here's how:
- Open your QBO account.
- Go to Transactions, then select Bank Transactions.
- Click the For Review tab.
- Locate the downloaded transactions that belong to the old bank and were reconciled in your QuickBooks records.
- Select the checkbox of the transactions to exclude.

- Hit Exclude.
After that, refresh your bank feed by clicking Update to download your recent bank transactions.

Then, make sure to review and categorize them.
