New to QBks online. How can a Credit Card Account or any Bank Acct. display a Running Balance?

Thanks for choosing QuickBooks Online (QBO) in managing your business. Let me guide you on how to show a running balance on your bank and credit card account, w11.

We can go to the Banking page to see the Bank Balance of your accounts. Just go to Banking on the left menu and choose Banking. From there, you'll see the Bank Balance amount in both bank ad credit card accounts.

We can also go to the Chart of Accounts page and filter it the page to QuickBooks Balance and Bank Balance options. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Accounting on the left side menu.
  2. Choose Chart of Account
  3. Click the Gear icon above the Action column.
  4. Put check marks on the QuickBooks Balance and Bank Balance boxes.

If you want to run a report on that account, just tap the View register drop-down and choose Run report. Then, hit the Gear icon on the QuickReport page and place a checkmark on the Balance field.
