Okay, we all know importing google trips has been broken for years. All Intuit does is keeps copy and pasting the same generic steps that dont work. We need manual import

Intuit needs to be responsible for a feature that does not work at all. My company exclusively uses google trips to track milage. Your instructions always say to use the "export to drive" option and share it via link. Which haven't worked anyways for years and you don't resolve this issue. You need a manual import option NOT a drive import option. Your back end API is not configure to talk to google drive correctly because you don't care about fixing it. MAKE A MANUAL IMPORT OPTION NOW! it would take a high school dev about 2 hours to fix this max.

Hello, @blueknight768. I'll provide details on importing Google trips in QuickBooks Online Self-Employed (QBSE).

The feature to import Google trips is currently working. Nevertheless, given your indication that it hasn't been working for years, could you please detail  the error message you receive when attempting to import Google trips? Moreover, could you share additional details or a screenshot to help me identify the issue that is preventing your ability to import trips?

If the error message says "Sorry we could not find any trips", we're currently receiving the same reports and our engineers are actively working on a solution. In the meantime, I suggest reaching out to our Customer care support team to have them include you in the group of impacted users and to receive updates on the status.

In addition, If you're interested in adding a manual import option in QBSE, feel free to submit a feedback for our product engineers to review and consider to include in the next update. Here's how:

  1. From the Gear icon, select Feedback.
  2. Type in your suggestion. Then, click Next.

I'm also adding this article to guide you on managing your business trips efficiently: Automatically track mileage in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Please let us know if you need help with any other QBSE features. We're always here to help you. Have a good one.
