I keep getting a warning that online banking will not work after 5/31/24. I have QB Enterprise Platinum, latest version standard, Product Number [removed]. I'm under the impression we have the latest version and i should be unaffected by this. Can anyone confirm?
Hello there, AVAccounting. I'd be glad to explain further about the warning messages you keep receiving.
QuickBooks is notifying users of an older version of QuickBooks Desktop that their QBDT version will soon discontinued on May 31st.
Your subscription is still active if you're using QB Enterprise Platinum. However, I recommended upgrading to the latest version of QBDT. You can refer to our article to check the system requirements for QBDT 2022 and QBDT 2023.
Furthermore, you can export your files from your old QBDT version and then import the file after you upgrade to the newest version of QBDT.
Additionally, you can refer to this article as your reference: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy
Don't hesitate to comment if you have further concerns about discontinuing the old versions in QBDT. I'm always here to help.
It is possible you are still running QB Desktop 2021. Login to your CAMPS and you should find your license codes. You may consider to upgrade your version to QB Desktop 2022 or newer before June 2024.
Thanks for the reply. Are you saying that if i keep using 2021, the bank feeds will stop working until we upgrade to 2022 or 2023?
Yes, @AVAccounting.
QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2021 will be discontinued after May 31, 2024. After this, you no longer can use online bank feeds and other services. To see the list of affected services, proceed to the What are the affected 2021 services? section of this article: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy.
With that said, you may want to upgrade to the latest version of QBDT or switch to QuickBooks Online (QBO). For other options you can avail, I recommend reaching out to our Sales team.
I also attached this resource to give you information for those products that will no longer be available to purchase: QuickBooks Desktop to stop selling to new U.S. subscribers.
