You can cancel your QuickBooks account temporarily and then you may re-subscribe within 12 months so that your company files will still be available. I'll show you how to cancel your subscription.

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and choose Account and Settings.
2. On the left pane, select Billing and Subscription.
3. Select Cancel subscription or Cancel online in the QuickBooks section.
4. Follow on-screen steps.
5. Select Submit and cancel subscription and confirm by clicking Got it.
