Hello there, Bethf. I wouldn't like you to be in that kind of situation.
You should be able to change or update your payroll bank account. Since you've been working on this for almost two months and nothing works, I'd recommend contacting our support team to further investigate this one. I can see you contacted them already, but your account will need to pull up in a secure environment to look at this issue in depth.
Here's how:
- Within your QBO account, go to Help at the upper-right corner.
- In the Search tab, click Contact us.
- You'll be asked to enter a brief description of your concern.
- Click Continue.
- Select Chat with us , Have us call you, or Call us.
Also, since there are pending transactions, it could be that there's something from your bank that they're currently working on.
