Hello there, @bmcintosh.
Allow me to walk you through so you’ll be to view your bank statement in QuickBooks Online,
here’s how:
- In QuickBooks, go to the Accounting menu. Or if you're an accountant, open your client's QuickBooks Online company file first.
- Select the Reconcile tab.
- From the Account dropdown, select the account you want to reconcile.
- If you see the View statements option, you can get your bank statements directly from your bank for this account. Select View statements to see your available statements.
- When you're ready to start, select Start reconciliation.
If you can’t still find or view your bank statement, I recommend clearing your browser’s cache to prevent unexpected behavior in the product. Check out this article for the steps: Clear cache in QuickBooks Online
Also, I’ve added an article with the list of banks that let you view your bank statement. If your bank supports this feature, you'll get bank statements automatically when you reconcile: Supported banks as of December 2020.
Keep me posted if you have any other QuickBooks concerns. I'll be here to help. Have a great day ahead.
