Welcome aboard to the Community, @akeahi. I’m here to ensure you can connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online.
May I know what Bank institution you’re using? Is it your first time linking the bank account to the program? Have you encountered any error messages? Please know that these information will help me check for any reported issue related to what you’re experiencing.
There are a few reason as to why you’re unable to connect your bank into the program. If your bank has multiple names on our list, make sure you've chosen the correct listing or that you've tried every link. It can also be that not all types of accounts can be connected to your bank. To know more about this, visit this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.
In the meantime, let's log back in to the bank's website to ensure we're linking the correct account. From there, let’s copy the bank URL and enter it on the Search field. This way, we’re sure we’re linking the correct account in QuickBooks.
Here’s how:
See this article to learn more about the troubleshooting steps you can perform if you see error messages: What to do if you get a bank error.
If the issue persists, you can access your account using a private or incognito browser as per Fiat. From there, you can try to link your bank account and clear your browser’s cache if it works.
If you’re still having issues, you’ll want to manually enter your transactions as a workaround. Once done, categorize and match them in QuickBooks Online.
In the meantime, I'm adding this article to further guide you in managing your account and your business's growth using QBO: QuickBooks Help Articles. It also includes topics about taxes, banking, and reports, to name a few.
I'll be here to share other details with you if you have more questions regarding linking your bank or any other banking concerns. Just add them to your reply and I’ll help you out.
