First off, let's check and ensure that the auto-tracking is turned on. Here are the steps to check if you're using android:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed via the mobile app.
- Go to the Mileage tab, then check to see if the auto-tracking is green and turned On.
- Tap the Menu icon, then choose Settings.
- Ensure that the Track Slow Speed Trips is blue and also turned On.
- Check all settings under Mileage Tracking are showing with a green light. If it's red, tap Fix This.
- Follow onscreen instructions.
For iOS 11, kindly make sure that the following are enabled and set to "Always":
- Background App Refresh
- Motion & Fitness
- Mobile App
- Cellular Data
- Lastly, you're logged in to the correct QBSE account while tracking the trips.
