QB Self Employed, is not capturing milages and transactions the last 3 weeks!

Hi there, @trs17.

Welcome to Community. I'm here to help you get your mileage tracker will back on track.

First off, let's check and ensure that the auto-tracking is turned on. Here are the steps to check if you're using android:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed via the mobile app.
  2. Go to the Mileage tab, then check to see if the auto-tracking is green and turned On.
  3. Tap the Menu icon, then choose Settings.
  4. Ensure that the Track Slow Speed Trips is blue and also turned On.
  5. Check all settings under Mileage Tracking are showing with a green light. If it's red, tap Fix This
  6. Follow onscreen instructions.

For iOS 11, kindly make sure that the following are enabled and set to "Always":

  • Background App Refresh
  • Motion & Fitness
  • Mobile App
  • Cellular Data
  • Lastly, you're logged in to the correct QBSE account while tracking the trips.

Once completed, check if everything works on your end. For more detailed instruction, you may check out these articles:
