Buy nowQBO is not importing all of my bank transactions, specifically speaking about money transfers within the same bank. Our business (partnership) bank is the same bank as our personal bank. Through that bank, we have 1 business account and 2 personal accounts. We have been using this bank for 3 years now and have just ran into this problem 2022 December 09. The transfers of funds between our business account and our personal accounts are only importing 1 of the transfers. In the same hand, the manual update of funds available in the account is reporting accurately. Bottom line, only 1 of the 2 transfers made every week is showing up in QBO and the available funds to spend in the account is accurate. How can that be accurate and QBO is not importing both transfers for me to categorize (NO RULES SET)???

Here's how:
Moreover, you can manually import bank transactions into the program. This will help you enter older bank data into QBO.
Once they're in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorize them. They will go into your accounts after you review them.

There was no error message of any kind at any time.

This is what temporarily solved the problem, I say temorarily because I still do not know why these 2 transfers did not automatically import with the rest of the transactions. I was missing 2 transfers so I just selected the two that I was missing and manually imported them into QBO.

I could use your assistance with importing transactions from an earlier date please. No matter what we do, it will only import from january 1st of this year even though this account has been active since January 24th 2023.
I appreciate you for bumping into this thread, synesisgroup.
Allow me to help you successfully import your bank transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If you haven't, let's update QBO by manually refreshing the connection with your bank. This will ensure that QuickBooks retrieves the most recent transactions from your bank.
Here's how:
If the bank transactions still won't import, I'd suggest manually adding them using an Excel CSV file.
Once transactions are in, it's time to match and categorize them. They will go into your accounts after you review them.
If you have further questions or clarification about importing your bank transactions in QBO, please don't hesitate to reply to this thread. The Community is open 24/7. Take care.
You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

I do not know if QBO can do that. I had the same issue and the solution for me was to export all of my bank statements into monthly .csv (Excel) files. Then, I combined (copy and pasted) all of the statements into one excel file. I then deleted all information except what you see in the attached file. Lastly, I uploaded that file into QBO by going to the cog wheel (Settings) and then selecting "Import data" under the "Tools" section. Select "Bank Data" and you should be able to follow the rest of the instructions from there. **Make sure that the dollar amounts are in parenthesis for purchases and not in parenthesis for deposits in the .csv file** The two most important columns you need in that file are the "Purchase Date" and the "Purchase Amount" columns.
This is not satisfactory. Why is the import bringing in some transactions but not others? I shouldn't have to go in and double check. It should be reliable.
