qbonline>Sales>Deposits broken any workaround?

QB Online>Sales>Deposits is broken.  It only lists deposits from quickbooks merchant bank business into my business, not deposits for my business.  Can you imagine handing this report to an IRS agent?  Add a fraud charge to whatever you may have been facing!  Anyway, is there a real deposits report anywhere?

QB Online is always broken and untrustworthy.  There are problems I have identified on this forum that have gone unfixed for years.  Are there any desktop apps left for the small business or is it time to find a new accounting software vendor?

Thanks all,

Michael O'

Also noting, this is useless:

https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/process-credit-card-payments/common-q...

because it depends on broken "features".

Also, I don't have anything labeled Merchant Service Center so maybe this help is for different software or maybe, once again, Intuit is "moving the furniture around" rather than fixing some of their broken software so help files are meaningless in a year.

QuickBooks being untrustworthy isn't the kind of experience I want you to feel, MichaelOD.

I want to make sure you're able to see all deposits you received from customers. The Merchant Service Center keeps a complete record of your payment activity from all of your QuickBooks products.

You can check the status of all your processed payments here. This includes payments processed in QuickBooks Online.

Before proceeding, make sure to open your QuickBooks accounts using a web browser. We no longer support QuickBooks Online Windows and Mac desktop apps.

Going back, here's another way to check your deposits.

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. From the homepage, select Activities & Reports and then Deposits.
  3. Select the date range in the Dates field.
  4. Click Search.

This lists all your daily deposits and totals when we put them in your bank account. To see the individual payments that are part of a deposit, click the arrow ▼ from the Fee column.

To see your monthly statement:

  1. Go to the homepage.
  2. Select the Activity & Reports tab and then All Statements.
  3. Find the month you want to see and select View
  4. Or select Download to get a PDF for your records.

QuickBooks Online automatically records deposits and fees deducted from your QuickBooks Payments transactions. I'm leaving these articles to help you check and ensure payments are posted to the correct bank account.
