Hello there, customer. We're sorry to see you go. To cancel your QuickBooks Payments account, let's navigate to your Account Profile.
To start, please ensure you sign in to the Merchant Service Center as an admin, as only they can take these actions. After that, follow these steps:
- Go to the Account tab, then Account Profile.
- Select Close Account.
- Choose a Reason for closing in the dropdown and add any comments you'd like to share.
- Once you're ready, hit Submit.
If you don't see the Close Account option, this could mean that you have pending payments to deposit. In this case, contact our QuickBooks Payments Support team to ensure these payments are processed and transferred to your primary business account before closure.
- Go to the Help icon, then select the Assistance tab.
- In the box provided, briefly describe your issue or type Contact Support.
- Choose either Chat or Callback for help.
