I'm helping an accountant with a QB Accountant problem. His File Manager stopped working, support said we had to reset the Windows 10 admin log in. That solved the File Manager problem, but since then, we can't use the bank feeds in any of our company files. The last attempt was incomplete, and we aren't able to edit the bank account to reset and reestablish the connection.
Support walked us through a very complicated series of steps to reset one company file bank account, but we still can't get the bank feed enabled.
Anyone have any experience with this? He even paid for a 3 month package of support from Intuit, and they blew us off. We were never allowed to talk directly to the higher tier of support, and they never gave a solution.
I’m here to help ensure your bank feeds will get enabled, @Constance.
Resolving each customer's concerns is always our top priority. I'd be glad to share some instructions to help you manage your bank feeds. Before that, did you received any prompt message or error?

Let me know how this goes. I want to ensure your bank feeds issue is settled. Keep safe!
It's actually the 2020 version we're working on.
We haven't tried the bank feeds yet because now we're caught in a File Manager Password reset loop and we're trying to resolve that. The situation is: logging into File Manager, we got a message that the password had expired, and we had to create a new password. From there, we have consistently gotten a message that the user ID and password don't match.
We are working with level 2 ProAdvisor support who is working with level 3. Both my client and I are having the same issue on our respective accounts. I did a clean reinstall and the problem persisted. Since my client had to reset his Windows Admin, to solve a File Manager log in problem, which resulted in the bank feeds problem, I'm not going to have him try anything until I get the FM password fixed on my computer.
I've used QB Desktop since 2000, and the Accountant version for many many years, and have never had the problems that we've had with 2020.
