103 Transactions missing in reconciled month. I can see them In the ledger but not in the register

Was four months into reconciliation, going through April. QBO stalled and I restarted the app. Now I'm missing more than 103 transactions for a month that I reconciled already. (Feburary)

I checked the audit report, nothing was deleted or changed since the reconciliation and the missing transactions do not show in the audit report either, though it does show the month was in fact reconciled. The transactions are do not show up in the register but I can see all of them in the ledger, I can even navigate to them direct from the ledger. The correct dates are shown and all information is correct in the ledger but no where to be found in the register or audit reports. Please help.

Even QBO online support could not figure out why, they have submitted a ticket but may take days to get back to me.

Were these transactions under the banking tab (meaning they were in the bank feed)? If you disconnect the bank feed, those transactions disappear. If you reconnect, you will get the last 3 mos. of transaction to come in. But you won't get April. You would have to download them from the site and import them. I have a blog post that demonstrates how do to that.

I have a similar problem. We reconciled 10 months, and now all the reconciled transactions are not in the register. If i re-download the transactions from the bank, will i have to re-reconcile the bank account as well??

Hello there, Austin Ingrum.

Let me help you with your reconciliation issue.

Missing transactions happen if there are connection hitch with the bank during the download times. If you're missing a reconciled transaction, you'll have to re-download those transactions and manually reconcile the them.

You can use the WebConnect feature to bring those missing transactions back in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Check out this article to learn more: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions.

Once the transactions are downloaded, you can start the manual reconciliation for each of the transaction in the Bank Register. I'd be glad to show you how below:

Here's how:

Select the Gear icon.
Under Your Company, select Reconcile.
Click View Register.
Identify the transaction and repeatedly select the top line of the transaction to change the status to reconciled.
