A customer paid me through QB and I connected my bank. But, the funds have yet to be deposited. How long does it take? It's been 12 days. It's my first transaction.

Let me address your deposit concern so you can get back to business.

 

After your initial payment, your funds will typically be deposited within five business days. Please note that while we set up your merchant account, the processing time for your first deposits may be longer. Once the setup is complete, you can expect quicker deposits, usually within two business days.

 

Since it has already been 12 days, let's check the status of your processed payments through QuickBooks Online (QBO). Here’s how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Sales, then Deposits.
  3. Select the bank deposit you wish to review.


Successful deposits will be marked as Funded in the Status column. Note that some banks may hold onto the funds for a period of time. In such cases, you'll have to collaborate with your them to determine if there are any additional steps required to process the transaction.

 

If there are any issues, you will see a Withheld or Batch Deposit Returned notice. You can click on the Arrow icon in the Fee column for more details.

 

Additionally, we will send an email containing the instructions to resolve the problem. I recommend checking your inbox or spam folders.
