@sarah132 I tend to doubt there will be improvements on this front.
The more seriously QB tries to create a program that can be an accountant for you with little to no input on your part, the more they'll appear to be taking responsibility for the accuracy of your financial statements.
In reality, QB is software that (at least pretends to) act as a tool for accountants and, to some extent, small business owners. It's not actually a pocket accountant, nor should it be. Some tasks should be left to human judgment.
Honestly, they'd be pretty stupid to take on that kind of task; at best, they might do away with the matching aspect altogether.
