They have the specialized tools and resources needed to securely investigate why transactions are missing in the application. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help (?) icon.
  3. From the options, hover your cursor over the Search tab.
  4. Tap the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  5. In the What can we help you with? Section, select Ask about something else, and type in your concern.
  6. Click Continue and choose a way to connect: Chat or Schedule an appointment.

I've been in contact with QB and my case is under investigation. No, the issues have not been resolved.

I'm happy to hear you were able to get in touch with our Customer Care team and get a case initiated about Shopify deposits not showing up in QuickBooks. While they're investigating your case, I'd recommend confirming the payouts sync workflow is set up correctly.

 

Here's how:
 

  1. You'll be asked to map your Into Bank Account field. This is where QuickBooks will record Shopify Payouts as bank transactions. The account you use must be an Other Current Asset or a Bank Account. Your selected account will be the chart of accounts that you choose while viewing your deposit in QuickBooks.
  2. To view the deposits created in QuickBooks, go to Accounting, then Chart of Accounts.
  3. Click your Account Assigned to the Into Bank Account field.
  4. From the Create a Deposit section, you'll be asked to map your default payment method. Assign an account here if you want QuickBooks Connector to use a single clearing account for the deposits from all payment methods.

 

By enabling your payouts workflow, you allow QuickBooks Connector to automatically create deposits within your books for payouts sent to your account by Shopify. If you'd like to enable payouts to sync to QuickBooks, it's recommended that you disable the orders workflow if you've already enabled it.

 

If everything's set up for it to be working correctly, but QuickBooks continues not showing Shopify deposits, you can also consider troubleshooting your web browser. Browsers store temporary internet files which can sometimes cause certain webpages to display incorrectly.
