Bank Feeds broken

Hi there, @amsaddles

Before reconfiguring your current firewall settings, know you'll want to get in touch with your IT personnel so they can provide advice on what changes to make to address this situation and fix your banking feeds inside the program. Once you're ready, here's how to reconfigure the firewall for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT):

  1. Open the Windows Start menu.
  2. Enter "Windows Firewall" into the search box and open Windows Firewall.
  3. Select Advanced Settings and then right-click Inbound Rules (later on, you'll create Outbound Rules). Then select New Rule.
  4. Select Port and then select Next. Make sure TCP is selected.
  5. In the Specific local ports field, enter the specific ports needed for your QuickBooks year version.
  6. After you enter the port number, select Next.
  7. Select Allow the Connection and then Next.
  8. If prompted, make sure all profiles are marked. Select Next.
  9. Create a rule. Give it a name like "QBPorts (year)."
  10. When you're done, select Finish.

On the other hand, here's an article to help you secure a backup copy of your company file in case you encounter an error when using the program: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
