Bank Feeds not working with Citibusiness Credit Card - Quickbooks Desktop

I'm seen several discussions are this issue for Quickbooks Online, but I've not seen a solution for Quickbooks Pro Desktop.  Our bank feeds for our Citibusiness credit card stopped working 12 months ago and we've not been able to find a fix.  Has anyone experienced this issue?  Is there a solution?

In our case, when we select "download transactions"  we connect via bank feeds and get a balance from Citibank, but the message always states "no new transactions", when in fact  there are new transactions.  The new transactions are not getting recognized by Quickbooks and not being imported.

Bank Feeds not working with Citibusiness Credit Card - Quickbooks Desktop

Thanks for joining the Community, MattL.

I'm here to take care of you. Let me help you download the bank transactions into QuickBooks Desktop.

Since you're getting an error when downloading the bank feeds, you can create a test account and set this up for online banking.

If you can download the transaction using the test account, let's go ahead and merge it to your original account.

Here's how:

  1. Click Lists at the top menu bar, and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Right click anywhere, and select New.
  3. Select Bank, and click Continue.
  4. Enter the correct bank's name in the Account Name field.
  5. Click Save and Close.
  6. Right click the old account, and rename it to the correct bank's name.
  7. Click Save and Close.
  8. Click Yes when you get the prompt to merge the accounts.

Let me know how it goes. I'll be here if you have follow-up questions about the bank connection in QuickBooks Desktop. Have a great day.
