Hi there, @bellavita67.

Are you trying to upgrade your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) subscription to QuickBooks Online (QBO)?

If so, we can follow these steps to upgrade your subscription.

Before we start, let's save your financial reports first. It's a good idea to hold on to your work for your records. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the Tax details section, select a tax year.
  3. Click Download to get a Tax Details report.
  4. Download a report for each tax year you have in QuickBooks.

Once done, you can move your data to QBO clicking the Gear icon and going to Billing info.

If you see the Explore QuickBooks Online plans option, proceed to these steps:

  1. Select Switch plan or Choose plan for the QBO plan you want.
  2. Follow the on-screen steps.
  3. Click Bring my data if you want to choose which data you move over. If you don't want to move any data and start fresh, select Start fresh.
  4. When you're ready to move your data to QuickBooks Online, select To QuickBooks Online. If you see a billing info review screen, select Change plan to start.

If you don't see it, you can follow the steps provided in this article "how to move your QBSE data to QBO", and go to the If you don't see the Explore QuickBooks option section.

After moving to QBO, you can check out our getting started guide to get familiar with the product.

Also, here's how you can connect your bank and credit card account to QBO

If there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know. I'll be around to help.

@bellavita67

If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular rate.
