I have 10 hours in on this issue with no resolution. Bank of America has been no help and Qickbooks acts like they have never heard of the problem.
Quickbooks had a good service that I had used for several years. Why they felt the need to scrap it is beyond me. Now I must spend hours a week to keep my accounting "somewhat" accurate. I will scrap Quickbooks if they do not fix this issue.
I understand how important this is to you, @DavidHzz.
I'm here to help you get the support you need about reconnecting your Bank of America accounts to QuickBooks.
I recommend reaching out to our support. This way, they'll be able to add you to the affected customers' list so you can receive updates about the issue if there will be an investigation.
Here's how:
Meanwhile, you can use Web Connect to manually import bank transactions into QuickBooks. Just launch a browser and navigate to your bank's website. Use your usual method to log into your bank account. Following that, import your transactions into QuickBooks Desktop by downloading them as a QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) file.
Once you're all set, you can proceed with reconciling your bank account in your QBDT account. This way, you can make sure the transactions from QuickBooks match your bank statement.
Should you need any additional assistance while managing your bank transactions, you can leave a comment below. I'll be sure to get back to you.
THANK YOU ETHEL_A!
With your fix I can at least keep everything up to date until Quickbooks fixes the bug. I will use the webconnect until Quickbooks resolves the main problem.

I can't get bank feeds to work. Bank of America wants to save imported files to *.qfx and not *.qbo thus I am screwed.
I'm glad to see you here in the Community, @phatmoon. I help you download bank transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
In QBDT, when you use Web Connect to download transactions it will save the file in .qbo format. That said, you can use an online converter tool or a third-party application that can convert .qbo file to .qfx. You can use this guide as a reference: Download bank feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
You can also use the same converting process when manually importing your Bank of America transactions into QBDT. Feel free to check this article to serve as a guide: Connect with Web Connect (.QBO) files.
Then, to look for a third-party application, you can visit our QuickBooks Apps store page.
Once the transactions are in, your next step is to match and categorize them in the program to ensure they are correctly assigned to the right accounts.
If you have any other concerns about downloading bank transactions in QBDT, please don't hesitate to post again here. I'm just around ready to lend a hand. Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.
All my BofA accounts are shown when I link them to QB Pro Plus 2023, except for most important one! This happenned when I was troubleshooting something else with tech support and they disabled bank connection for troubleshooting purposes. Since then they blame the bank and the bank blames BQ. The fact that it was connected before disabling bank feeds tells me that it is QB bank feed issue. Waiting for 2nd level call back.
