Buy nowHi. I linked my bank account with starting date mid December 2023, however, the system somehow uploaded transactions from a few years back. I didn't notice this right away and created some rules, which seem to have been applied to previous years transaction and now everything is scrambled in my chart of accounts. Not sure how to resolve.
Thank you
I have a solution that can remove unintentionally applied old transactions, ShaktiLife.
If you accidentally included transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) that were not supposed to be there, you can easily remove them. Simply navigate to the Categorize tab, filter the date range to locate the unwanted transactions, and then Undo or exclude them.
Please ensure to compare your changes with your transactions, to avoid deleting other important transactions.
Here's how:
I'll leave this material for you to visit anytime you'd want to learn more about excluding a downloaded bank transaction: Exclude a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online.
In addition, you can also undo or remove transactions from reconciliations if you happen to add certain transactions and reconcile them accidentally.
We're always here to offer our assistance if you happen to encounter some challenges while using QuickBooks. Just ask us anything about QBO, and we'll be right there to help.
Thank you!
