Bank Update "Push Update" is not working

Since November 25th, when updating my accounts, I started getting an error with using the "Push Update" option (only) for obtaining my updates.  Although I would get the "Push Notification" sent to my Samsung S10+ phone, my laptop would immediately show an error message stating the following:

"Something unexpected happened and we couldn't connect to your bank,  Try again in a few hours. (101)"

However, I could go and use any other of my other methods to obtain my Bank Updates, i.e. Text or Email, etc...

Even after I click their button to report this error, I would get an email stating that they corrected the error and that all is right with the world and that I may proceed on with my merry 'ol life...

 

I am attaching 3 exhibits below as evidence of my case and hopefully, someone, not just some desk-jocky will take this to a higher court to get this resolved.  I do not need a standard answer of "please go a clear your cache, blah blah blah"  OMG!!  If I hear another IT standard non-sensical answer I'm just going to lose it...  And why would a support person here advise me or anyone else to submit a ticket for this when 1) They already have opened and closed several tickets regarding this issue and evidently don't care and 2) Isn't that what you're here for???

 

Okay, perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself knowing the answer I'm about to get, but really, if the person who answers this happens to be a QB Pro Advisor and represents the QB Team, then why don't you just simply help and take the ball and run with it when we give it to you??

 

I reported the bug and I won't be checking back.

Bank Update "Push Update" is not working

Wow - for whatever reason I could not only attach my pics to my post above, but even in this post it said drag and drop "FILES" (plural meaning many) but yet it only allows one file.  So I had to put them all in one file ugh...  Isn't anyone checking anything these days...

To begin with, I recommend reaching out to Truist Bank to inquire about any potential maintenance or issues that may be related to the error you're encountering.

 

 If everything is good on their end, I suggest calling our QuickBooks Team to investigate this matter thoroughly.

 

To start:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Go to the Help menu.
  3. Tap on Contact Us from the Search tab.
  4. Choose a way to connect with support.

 

For your convenience, you can connect with them during their business hours.

 

Once all set, you're ready to manage your banking entries in our system. I'm adding these articles as your reference:

 

 

On the other hand, you can add multiple files/images to your post. To do this, click on the Insert Photos menu to proceed. Additionally, you can see the 3 dots once you log in to your Community account.
