Banking Import

I have a checking account connected to my QuickBooks Online. During recent QuickBooks requirements to update connections, I had to disconnect and reconnect this account. Since that was done, October 31, I have not received any data for import in the Review section.  The same is happening with my credit card account with was also reconnected during the last requirement to update links.  It appears that the current balances are showing but none of the data entries are coming through to Quickbooks.

Can someone help.

Banking Import

It's best to check with your bank first if there's an ongoing maintenance, A_Olu.

If your financial institution doesn't have connection issues with QBO, you can update the account manually. Doing this will refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Click Banking on the left panel.
  2. Select Banking at the top.
  3. Click the Update button on the upper right-hand corner.

To import your transactions, you can use Web Connect files. This lets you download the transactions from your bank's website, so you can upload them into QBO. The supported file types are:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • Quicken (QFX)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Microsoft Money (OFX)

I'd also suggest contacting our Online Banking Team. They can investigate this issue to know why you haven't received any data after the connection update.

Here's how to get their phone number:

  1. Go to this link https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select QuickBooks Online.
  3. Click Solving issues & error messages topic.
  4. Click the Banking sub-topic.
  5. Scroll down and click the Get Phone Number button.
