Hello,

We pay clients' bills for them and are currently using the bill pay feature where we have to print the checks and physically mail them to the payment location. For example light bills we create the check-in QB, print it, and mail it out to the electric company. I was wondering if there was a way to digitize this instead of having to print a bill each time? I feel that the days of printing checks and mailing them to the companies is a bit outdated. Is there a way to do this? Are there any third-party qb applications that can provide this service?

Since you want to digitize this bill payment, please ensure you've selected ACH Bank Transfer. You may have turned on the Check Deliver when choosing the payment method for paying bills online. You can learn more about this by checking out this article: Pay bills online in QuickBooks Desktop.

About the third-party app, QuickBooks can integrate a lot of third-party applications. You may also consider looking for third-party apps for this type of functionality. Simply go to the App Center in your QBDT or visit our Apps for QuickBooks Desktop page for reference.
