This depends on where the amounts are deposited, @Platinum Financial. Let me help you handle this!

You can match the sales receipt to the imported transactions under bank feeds if the payments are directly deposited and recorded in your bank account. On the other hand, you’ll want to create a deposit first in QuickBooks Online if the amount is in the Undeposited funds.  

Here’s how:

1. Select the +New button.
2. Under Tools, choose Bank deposit.
3. From the Account ▼ dropdown, choose the account you want to put the money into.
4. Select the checkbox for each transaction.
5. Make sure the total of the selected transaction matches your deposit slip. 
6. Select Save and close.
   
   

After this process, you can now match them to the Bank Feed deposits. You can use this article for a detailed guide on how to categorize and match online bank transactions.

can't find the sales on the left side

Thanks for chiming in on this thread. Let's work together and get this problem resolved. 

To clarify, are you using QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop. This may be one of the reasons you're not able to see the "Sales" tab on the left-hand side.

What version of quick books is this? When I read last year, I told them. I wanted the tithing feature but one side purchased. I was told that this was not the version that you could use for tithing. Can you please help me before I read new again

You can use QB Desktop Premier for Non Profit for your church to record tithes.
