Welcome to the Community, @cavijayabhomia. I'm happy to guide you in reconciling your credit card transactions with QuickBooks.
Whenever you do an account reconciliation, it's always best to always review your opening balance before we start. Then, compare your bank statement and QuickBooks.
If your credit card is connected to online banking, I'd suggest you match and categorize all of your downloaded transactions. Then, follow these steps below:
- Start with the first transaction on your bank statement. Find the same one in the Reconciliation window in QuickBooks.
- Review the two transactions. If they match, put a checkmark next to the amount in QuickBooks.
- Compare each transaction on your bank statement.
Once done, ensure the difference between your statement and QuickBooks should be $0.00. Click Finish now to complete the reconciliation, then select Done.
If your credit card account isn't connected to online banking, follow the steps to reconcile the account manually outlined in this help article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online. Refer to this topic: Reconcile accounts that aren't connected to online banking.
I'm also adding another helpful link about how to fix opening balance issues in case you encounter any.
Let me know if you have additional questions. We're always delighted to assist you more.
