No, the issue still hasn't been resolved. As for the problem of self-correcting in 48 hours, this has been happening for a month. I reached out to AMEX, and they say it is a QuickBooks communication error and I should try reestablishing the connection. Obviously, I have done this many times without success. The auto download of Amex data has worked seamlessly for a couple of years, and other cards still download fine. Not sure were to go from here.
