Can't Find Your Bank

Has anyone had QBO successfully add a new bank for them after requesting it here? (Image below)

If so, how long did it take?

I appreciate the effort in sharing those details, simeon.

I understand how important it is for you to link your bank to QuickBooks Online. But we're unable to provide a specific timeframe for your request since adding a financial institution may take some time. Rest assured, your request will be reviewed and considered in future updates.

Can you also share with me the name of the bank? So we can keep this thread updated once it has been added to the list of supported banks.

In the meantime, I recommend checking this link to learn how you can manually upload your transactions to QuickBooks Online.

I'm also adding this article to guide you in reviewing your bank transactions: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

You're welcome to post again in the Community or in this thread if you need further assistance about banking. I'm always available to help. Take care.

I do not understand why you cannot share a timeframe.

Once, we click the add bank button, no confirmation email is sent.  Since you are an employee, can you email me directly for my banking information?

The articles are not related to my concern.

Thank you for that quick response, simeon.

The availability of this feature is a decision to be made between the financial institution and QuickBooks. Most bank purposely won't allow third party connections to certain account types. With that reason, we can't provide a time frame on when will it be rolled out or not.

Also, the Community is an open forum for all QuickBooks users and our resources are only limited. I recommend reaching your bank for more information.

Keep us posted if you have other banking questions. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Have a wonderful weekend!

So as an employee of QBO you cannot reach out to me outside of this forum?

Yes, you're correct, simeonshigg.

We're unable to reach out to you outside of this forum since we don't have access to your contact details. Not to worry, we have designated supports that you can contact to ensure you're able to connect your bank account to the program.

Here's how to contact our support team:

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. On the Assistant tab, click Talk to a human.
  3. Enter your concern in the Type something field, then click the send icon.
  4. Click on I still need a human.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. You can either select Chat with us or Have us call you.

To ensure that you'll be assisted on time, please see our support hours.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your transactions to QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I've added this article that'll help you review downloaded bank and credit card transactions and put them in the correct accounts: Categorize and Match Online Bank Transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please keep us posted if you need additional assistance managing your QuickBooks account. We're always here to help you out.

@simeonshigg

Because what you have done is only providing feedback to Intuit. They will evaluate your request and put it as priority once the total feedback from other users reaches certain undisclosed parameters.

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo) as a workaround for the time being.
