The QBO credit card balance is a good $5k under what the bank balance is. I've never had a problem reconciling the account and only noticed this recently, but that doesn't mean it's a recent issue.
Is there a way to get the numbers to match without messing up past reconciliations?
Thanks in advance!

I'll share some information on how to resolve the difference on these balances, HHMF.
The QuickBooks balance is the total of all bank transactions added or matched to QuickBooks. While the bank balance is the actual balance of your bank as of the last bank feed update. If your bank balance is higher than your QuickBooks balance, it could be due to bank transactions.
The following are the most common reasons why the bank and QuickBooks balances don't match:
Depending on what caused the discrepancy, different troubleshooting steps are available to resolve it. You can refer to this article, determine which applies to your situation, and then follow the recommendations: How to fix differences between QuickBooks and bank balance.

Review the unreconciled transactions on the reconciliation report. It’s possible that a payment was recorded incorrectly in the CC account (both adding and subtracting the same amount from the balance). If that is the case, you’ll want to fix it so the payment came from a bank account.
Thanks Ciconis,

I'm not sure I understand, everything is reconciled up through the current statement, and there aren't any outstanding entries. Should I be looking at something else?
And I confess reconciliation reports stump me, I'm just a business owner who knows how to make QB work for the most part!
