Glad to have you here in the Community, @atb392.
I'm here to help correct the ending date you entered in your reconciliation.
If you haven't completed the reconciliation yet, you can still change the ending date. Here's how:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
- Click Accounting from the left menu, then select Reconcile.
- Choose the bank account from the Account drop-down list.
- Select the Resume reconciling button.
- Click the Edit Info button, then change the Ending Balance and Ending Date.
- Select Save.
However, if the reconciliation was already completed, you don't have the option to change the ending date. You'll need to perform the following to correct it:
- Leave the date as it is and just make sure to select the correct end date the next time you reconcile (an incorrect date doesn't affect any balances and will not prevent you from future reconciliation).
- You can undo the reconciliation and then reconcile with the correct ending date.
You might also want to know what to do if QuickBooks doesn't match your bank statement at the end of reconciliation. This article will help you resolve it: Fix issues at the end of reconciliation in QuickBooks Online.
Our doors are always open to help you again if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions about reconciliation. It's nice to work with you, @atb392.
