I'll help you void your sales receipt in QuickBooks Desktop, @mforest.
The Void option will show up on the Delete section of your Sales Receipt window. I’ll guide you on how:
- From the Customers menu, go to Customer Center.
- Select the Transactions tab and click Sales Receipts.
- Find and open the sales receipt.
- Click the drop-down icon from the Delete section of your sales receipt window.
- Then Save & Close.
Once voided, you’ll still have a record of this transaction. Thus, it won’t affect any of your account balances or reports.
