Adding a credit card account in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is easy, freeman. I'll be glad to guide you through the entire process.

In QBDT, we can create a credit card by going to the Chart of Accounts menu. Here's how:

1. From the Company menu, select Chart of Accounts.
   
   
2. Choose Account, then New.
   
   
3. Click Credit Card, then Continue.
   
   
4. On the Add New Account window, enter the name.
5. Select Enter Opening Balance, then enter the account's balance and date.
6. Hit Save & Close.
