I keep trying to download my bank transactions into QuickBooks like I do every month and everytime I try to go to the page to log into my bank account through QuickBooks desktop to download it comes up with an unrecoverable error and shuts QuickBooks down completely?? What is going on?

I would like to know the error you have encountered before QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) completely crash, that would be very helpful so that I can check if you have similar issues reported in Quickbooks. As of now, we encourage customers with older version in updating their application to match the new programmed codes.
Also, for your bank connection, I recommend clearing the cache within the Internet Explorer, that connects your QBDT account. Here's how:
Check if you can download your bank transactions this time. However, if the issue still exist you can follow Rebuild and Verify the data in QBDT.
