Hello, I just excluded a bank transaction by mistake. Is there a way for me to get it back?

You can undo the excluded bank transactions to get it back in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Lauren. Let’s dive into this concern to help you retrieve the entry.

After accidentally excluding the bank transaction, navigate to the Excluded tab in your banking interface to undo it.

Here's how:

  1. From the Transactions menu, select Bank transactions.
  2. Choose the Excluded tab.
  3. Look for the transaction you want to undo.
  4. After that, click Undo.

After completing the steps above, the transaction will return to the For Review tab.

To discover more about the excluded transactions, you can scan this article: Exclude a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, you can reconcile your accounts in QBO to ensure that your financial records match your bank and credit statements. You may visit this reference for a guide: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Navigating financial records can be challenging, but our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted team is here to help you identify key dashboards and reports for a clearer understanding.

It's my pleasure to explain everything clearly, Lauren. If you have further questions about managing your bank transactions or with reconciling your account in the future, please know that the Community is here to help.
