The best way to display all cash transactions for a month in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is to run a report and customize it, @GracingSpacesTreasurer. This process enables you to have a clear view of the transactions you want, including all relevant activity in those two-month periods. Let me guide you through the process.
Since QBO doesn't have a single built-in report specifically capturing all cash transactions at once, you need to run a Transaction Detail by Account report, then customize it.
Here's how:
The payee information is in the Name column. Regarding the category, are you referring to the transaction type? If so, it's already in the report. Yet, if you need a more detailed view of each transaction, tap the Columns icon.
It will allow you to add or remove columns, providing you with the specific transaction details you need. Please see the attached photo below:

I just wanted to check in and see if the steps we shared helped you display all cash transactions between August 1 and September 30, 2025, showing the payee, category, or uncategorized status as you preferred. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if anything is unclear or if you need more assistance.
We’d be glad to provide further help.
