Do you need to merge 2 QBO accounts into one QBO account, or else?
I have an easier way of how you'll be able to log in to your QuickBooks Online account without merging them, jaylynmgmt.
For now, merging two (2) different Intuit products is unavailable. You'll want to export your data to QuickBooks Online to transfer the information to only one account. This way, this will be more convenient without having you log out from your previous account and log in to your new account. Before doing so, you'll have to set up everything first before going through the process. For more information and detailed steps, please check out this article: Setup export of IOP data to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I've also added this article for additional information: Move from Intuit Online Payroll to QuickBooks Online Payroll Core. Also, for your reference and guide consider reading this article since your new to QBO. Get Started With Payroll.

Yes, 2 QBO accounts. I typed up a nice response (and thank you) to @MariaSoledadG clarifying that both are online but when I went to reply I lost it somehow. But yes, both online. The one I've had for a couple years for general accounting and the other is as the result of intuit payroll switching to QBO also. I've had that one as an intuit account for many years. I suppose the payroll one is more critical since it is tied to all the tax stuff. therefore I would assume leaving it as the main and importing stuff from the general accounting one would be the safest to try.
I would recommend to open a new blank QBO account

then utilize a 3rd party tool to export data out from both of existing accounts to XLS, and import it in stages to the new blank QBO account.

You may also utilize the trial version of a backup restore app during the process.

As another option, consider purchasing a 3rd party merging service. Contact us in private for details.
