I don't use online banking. I only do banking in-person and don't have a login. How do I connect my account?

How do I connect a bank account without having a user ID and password?

Thanks for posting your question here in the Community forum, @Anonymous.

I'd be happy to guide you in connecting your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To get started, may I know the bank account you're trying to connect to?

When connecting a bank account, you'll need to enter the username and password you use for your bank's website. Sometimes, it differs since it depends on the bank on how they'd connect to QBO.

I recommend reaching out to your bank institution to ask if it is possible to connect your bank account to QuickBooks without having an online banking account. You can check the available formats with your financial institution. Otherwise, you can use web connect if your bank will allow you to import your transactions to QuickBooks Online without connecting it.

You can check this article for more information about importing transactions with its file format: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

For any banking queries and troubleshooting process, you can refer to this link as a reference moving forward: Help articles. I’m sure you’ll find it very helpful.

You can drop me a comment if I can do anything else for you concerning your QuickBooks account. I'd be around to assist. Have a great day.

How do I connect a bank account without having a user ID and password?

Hi. I am trying to connect Northstar Bank.

I do not have a login - no username and no password.

I tried to connect it maybe a month ago. The QBO app said that it made two small deposits into my account and to verify the amounts. By the time I got the bank statement and was ready to enter the amounts, there was nowhere within QBO to go to enter these amounts.
