How do I connect my checking account?

One of the key features of QuickBooks Online is its online banking capability, Shaun. This feature streamlines your financial management by automatically downloading your transactions into the program.

I'd be happy to guide you through the steps to connect your checking account to the software. Let me show you how to do this:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then proceed to the Bank transactions tab.
  2. Click Link Account and enter the URL or name of your bank in the Search field.
  3. Select your bank.
  4. Type in your credentials in the Login and Password fields, then choose Continue
  5. Select the account that you want to connect and the date to pull transactions. Then, select Next.
  6. Note: Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months.
  7. Choose the type of account in the drop-down list for Account type, then select Next.
  8. Follow the subsequent prompts to successfully sync the checking account.
