I have two old/closed Bank of America accounts listed in my transfer from/to destinations in QB Checking. I can't for the life of me figure out how to delete these. They are dead and closed and I don't want to accidentally select one as I still have one account at BofA.
TIA
I understand you want to remove these unused accounts from the selection, chewy-chewbacca.
QuickBooks Checking Bank Account is in partnership with Green Dot Bank. Their assistance is necessary to remove the external bank account.
I suggest contacting our Customer Support Team and request to talk to Greed Dot support or call them directly. Here's how you can reach our support:
Our customer support schedule for Plus, Essentials, and Simple Start users is from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT, and Saturdays from 6 AM to 3 PM PT. If you are using the Advanced version, assistance is accessible 24/7.

I chatted support. Was transferred twice. The end result was below. I have not called yet and find it pretty ridiculous I have to jump through so many hoops to make such a simple change. A call in 2024??
Please reach out to this phone number so you'll be connected from our phone support directly to greendot team, [Removed].
Closing the case on this. THERE IS NO WAY TO REMOVE OLD FUNDING ACCOUNTS.
I called support, described what I wanted to do. asked for QB Checking/Green Dot support. Was transferred to what was supposed to be checking support which sounded like they were in Asia with huge voice delays. They were nice, but couldn't find my account with any of the following info:
They gave up and transferred me to "support". This got me back to America. The nice lady said there is no way to remove funding accounts.
Nice job Intuit!
For what they are charging me for QBO and all the processing fees you think they could get their act together for something so, so basic.
