How do I turn off the new "Explore" feature in Transactions->Banking? I am trying to view attachments to transactions that are "For Review."

I am still able to download/preview attachments in Expenses. But can't get around the "Explore" feature. The preview doesn't load. And the suggestions are nice, but I don't need them. Thanks!

I can share some information regarding the Explore feature, @tpo_books.

QuickBooks are having several enhancements that improved performance and navigation in the program like the Explore feature. This feature will help you easily categorize your transaction and assign customers or vendors.

Since you want to turn off this feature, I'd suggest sending feedback to our product development team. They will review all the feedback we receive to ensure we’re meeting the needs of our customers.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Click Next to submit feedback.

For your reference, check out this link: How to Submit Feedback. We also share recent happenings and future developments, such as updates to newly added features. Head to this link: The Firm of the Future.

I've also added some helpful articles about creating expenses adding attachments, categorizing bank transactions:

Drop me a line if you need more help with managing your QuickBooks account. I'd be happy to assist you. Thanks again for reaching us and have a great day, @tpo_books.

So I went through 3 customer service reps until I found one who was amazing and bird-dogged this issue with me - the first two did not understand the problem and wanted me to go incognito.  This is definitely not a user/browser issue.  We spent 2 hours troubleshooting live with a developer only to be told in the end that this was a "feature" not a bug.  Apparently they roll out these beta changes with no documentation to customers or customer service agents.  Most often software providers have beta "features" are not opt in, but intuit prefers to make it more like a crap shoot for unsuspecting users.  I was told that my case would be closed because since it was a  beta "feature" they are testing, there is nothing to "fix".  They said my only recourse was to used the feedback link to communicate my issues directly to the developers and hopefully they will fix it or abandon the test.  I send feedback every day about my frustrations.  The feedback link also doesn't work, you have to refresh the page and click the link a second time before it appears.  The behavior of this "feature" is inconsistent.  I have sent reports of the debugging on the browser, asked to opt out, no on is listening.  Beta features need to be opt in and people need to be aware they are using them because then they can always turn them off if they don't work.  It has been weeks and no improvement.  TURN IT OFF

I whole heartedly agree with the person who posted frustrations on this topic! I am glad to not be the only one who feels like Intuit is dumping beta features on you without a warning! I HATE it!

Intuit would be better off making sure whatever is there work PROPERLY, instead of constantly add new features that are not wanted or helpful! QB is CLUNKY,  and in my opinion, not suited for the lay person/business owner. I spend my time fixing what owners have tried to do. There are so many bugs these days, it needs to be working smoothly again. TOO MUCH BETA, SIMPLER IS BETTER!!! Dang the firm of the future, you are not meeting the needs of NOW!!!!!!!!!
