How long are funds withheld when investigating deposits? No e-mail was sent stating anything was needed, yet it’s been a week and the backlog of my deposits is growing.

How long are funds withheld when investigating deposits? No e-mail was sent stating anything was needed, yet it’s been a week and the backlog of my deposits is growing.

Hi there, mb36. 

 

Credit card processing and bank transfers have different deposit processing time. If you're a new user, we'll deposit your first batch of payments within 5 business days. It also varies from your bank on how long the deposits are being cleared and deposited.

 

We can check your deposit speed from QuickBooks Online or the Merchant Service Center

  1. Go to Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

I also suggest getting in touch with our Merchant Services Support to verify your deposits and their statuses.

I suppose I should have been clearer. QB is holding the deposits, not the bank or cc processor. I realize there are occasional delays, but a week is a bit long in today’s world. (I used to be a banker). It is impacting my cash flow and that’s a problem. If I can answer any questions to help speed up the process, I’d sincerely like to.

QuickBooks will deposit a money until we completed the review, mb36.

 

Once your Merchant account was placed on hold, we will send you an email. If you're unable to received one, you may want to check it on your spam messages folder. 

 

If you haven't received any, I'd suggest getting in touch with our Merchant Service team so an agent will take a look at your account and investigate this further.

I've provided all the information requested. The owners ID, Resale Certificate and License. What more do we need to process the funds into our account. I have clients wondering why we haven't processed their payments which we have but they are being withheld. What's the next step.
