You'll want to select the transaction on the bank register to change the date.

You can also click the Date arrow if you want to show the year in ascending or descending order. Please see the screenshot below.
For future reference, you can run account reports to check the category of transaction: Run Reports in QuickBooks Online.

1. Export the Check data you want to modify
2. Change the data (e.g the date in TxnDte column). Make sure not to change any data in the RefNumber and BankAccount.
3. Import the data back into QBO
The template should be like this
