I'll be happy to address your concern about deleting a reconciliation in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @chao_judy.
Currently, we're unable to delete a reconciliation in QBO. However, I can guide you on how to manually undo the reconciliation of each transaction. To do that:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
- Locate the account and click View Register.
- Select the transaction to expand the view. Under the Check (✔) symbol, click the letter R until it changes to blank. Repeat the same step for other transactions.
- Select Save.
Alternatively, you can seek help from your accountant to undo the entire reconciliation all at once. If you're not associated with one, you can visit our Find a ProAdvisor page to find an accounting professional in your area.
Additionally, you can use reconciliation reports to view a summary of your beginning and ending balances, as well as the cleared and uncleared transactions.
