Good day, @maxmar80.
The option to import bank transactions using the .CSV file is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). You have to use a QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) file to bring your data into the program.
For now, you can look for a third-party app that can help convert your file to into a .QBO format. Just check out this link to find one: https://desktop.apps.com/home
After successfully converting your file, you can now import them into QBDT.
Additionally, I got you this article that can guide you in reconciling your accounts accurately: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop.
You can always get back to me whenever you have other concerns. I'm always here to help you anytime. Keep safe!
If you are using a supported version (i.e QBD 2019-2021), you may utilize a 3rd party app to convert XLS/CSV to QBO file and import it into your QB Desktop file.

Otherwise, prepare the Bank Statement data with the following template
Bank Account | Transaction Date | Payee | Chk No. | Account | Amount | Memo | Class | Billable | Billable Entity |
Checking | 01/09/2020 | AT&T | 123 | Utilities:Telephone | -100 | Check Payment | N | ||
Checking | 02/09/2020 | Jane Doe | 141 | Product Sales | 150 | Deposit | N |
then utilize one of these importer tools
