I cannot see the complete numerical balance in the Balance column of my Check Register. Cuts off the last 2-3 digits. I am unable to expand the column width as usual.

This is a screenshot of my issue.  See how one line shows all the numbers in the Balance column, then the very next line doesn't??  What's up!!  This makes it very difficult when you can't see your balance.  Any ideas??

In QuickBooks, every field within your company data file has a maximum limit of characters that can be entered, RoxButch.

QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, the number of numerical balance figures that will appear in the balance column for the chart of accounts depends on your specific preferences and settings. By default, QuickBooks Desktop for Mac displays two decimal places for the balance column. However, you can customize the display format to show more or fewer decimal places or even hide the cents portion entirely. This can be adjusted in the Preferences section of QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

On the other hand, we are unable to expand the column width on the Chart of accounts as the system works as designed.

Furthermore, here's an article to help you manage transactions inside the program: View and edit transactions in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
