I change my plan & my previous transactions did not carry over into my new plan. I have a CSV file of them, but I can't find a way to upload file from my desktop

I changed my QB on Saturday to Solopreneur. When I did that their system acted as though I created a new account and deleted my old account and records. I've spent an hour and a half to two hours on the phone with them three days this week. After 1.5 hours on Tuesday, one of their employees was able to get my old transaction log back. I was able to download that data in a CSV file. Yesterday I tired to upload those transactions, but because of the way the Solopreneur is configured, I cannot upload the data of my previous transactions.

Any idea how to do the upload? My only other choices are to manually re-enter them or switch to another service.

Can you still open your QB Online account and find your data?

We can manually upload your transactions seamlessly into your QuickBooks Solopreneur, @mingarep. I can guide you on how to do it.

Beforehand, I appreciate your use of QuickBooks Solopreneur to manage your business.

Once you switch to QuickBooks Solopreneur, you'll not be able to access your old account after the upgrade process is completed. Instead of re-entering them manually, we can upload your file to save you time.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Choose the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Click the Link account▼ dropdown, then select "Upload from file". If your account is not connected yet, to online banking, select Upload from file.
  4. Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, select Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions, then click Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you like to import. Then select Continue.
  8. Click Yes and select Done.
